Spirituality

The Convent of the Capuchin Friars was built in four years starting from 1653, thanks to donations from the citizens, on Colle Bianco (White Hill), at the time isolated, today at the center of the new district of the same name. Inside the church, dedicated to St. Lawrence Martyr, important works of art are preserved, such as the well-known Deposition by De Magistris, dated 1576, the Holy Family and the young St. John, attributed to the Tuscan artist Santi di Tito, and numerous works from the 17th and 18th centuries.
