The Council Chamber in the Town Hall of Potenza Picena

The "Antonio Carestia" Council Chamber, located inside the eighteenth-century Town Hall of Potenza Picena, is a space of great historical and artistic value. The walls are decorated with a cycle of nineteenth-century frescoes, the work of local painter Biagio Biagetti, and the room is embellished with important canvases from previous eras.

Among these stand out works by notable masters: such as Simone De Magistris and Corrado Giaquinto, which transform the hall into a small but significant art gallery: "Madonna with Child between Saints Martin and Rocco" from 1584 by Simone De Magistris, "Saint Emidius" by Benedetto Biancolini (18th century) and the "Allegory of Peace" by Corrado Giaquinto (18th century).

Being an institutional venue, the hall can be visited during cultural events or upon request, representing one of the most important testimonies of the city's artistic heritage.
