Mugellini Festival
Where Music meets Art and the Spoken Word.
The Mugellini Festival is a prestigious Music and Art series dedicated to the celebrated pianist and composer from the Marche region, Bruno Mugellini (1871–1912).
More than just a music festival, it is a true fusion of different artistic expressions. Its hallmark is the seamless interplay between Music, the Spoken Word, and Visual Art. Each evening is designed as a multidisciplinary experience, where musical performances are paired with exhibitions of paintings, sculptures, or art installations—often created specifically for the event.
Many performances take place in evocative locations, such as the Cappella dei Contadini in Potenza Picena, a small 18th-century jewel. The festival is renowned for attracting world-class musicians and talents from the national and international artistic scene.
The program also features talks and meetings with prominent artists and cultural figures. Furthermore, the Youth Project (Progetto Giovani) offers emerging musicians the opportunity to perform alongside established artists, while the Mugellini Prize is awarded to artists whose work reflects the principles and legacy of the Master.
